Three-day photo exhibition on Kashmir Day
RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Arts Council will arrange a photographic exhibition depicting human rights violations in Indian-held Kashmir on Kashmir Solidarity Day. Culture District Officer Naheed Manzoor said that the basic purpose of the exhibition was to show solidarity with our Kashmiri brethren and make the public aware of their sufferings. Pakistani and Kashmiri children will deliver speeches, sing national songs and will distribute posters, badges and publicity material in the exhibition, she said. The exhibition will continue for three days from February 5 to 8 without any entry fee for the general public, she added. The Rawalpindi Arts Council is also organising an exhibition of Iranian handicrafts in line with Irans National Day celebrations on February 9.
